It’s that time of year… When we are all ordering like mad online because your kids have outgrown everything and it’s time to head back to school. And while I have scoured Target, Nordstrom, Crewcuts, and more, I wanted to do something fun and special for Ells with regards to her new clothes for the school year.
Have you all heard of this kids clothing box called Rockets of Awesome?
BACK TO SCHOOL SHOPPING
It kept popping up in my feed in Facebook so I broke down and thought I’d try it out for Ella. The clothes look super cute and it seemed affordable. $16 and a $5 service fee that is put towards your purchases didn’t seem too bad. I was a little leery because Ella is a bigger kid and sometimes clothes run kind of funny ie SMALL so I made sure to note on the information that if something seemed small to please size up.
But it was a nice supplement to try to give her some t-shirts that aren’t the same as all the other Target ones the kids are wearing.
The box came.
And she loved everything…
ROCKETS OF AWESOME
This morning she’s wearing her favorite sweatshirt from the box. Most of the pieces from the box were more for fall and there was one item that I said absolutely not to. I didn’t say no because they weren’t adorable, but I said no because it was a pair of leggings that when she bent over were completely see through! Gahh! She sooooooo wanted to keep them, but I couldn’t do it.
So we kept almost everything…
Keeping everything is really the best deal, but I just couldn’t keep the leggings that were see through.
Just. Couldn’t. Do. It.
But, the experience was lots of fun for Ella and she can’t wait to get our next box!
You can shop all styles at the links below and on Rockets of Awesome if you like! The best part about this subscription style box is that you can just purchase on their site too and they are getting ready to open a store in NY which is obviously too far for me, but the extra shopping options are a plus!
