5 Ways To Be A Princess On Princess Day

Sometimes I think it’s funny that we have a day for all days… Friend Day, Chocolate Day, Pie Day… But sometimes it can be fun!  And with it being Monday, I figured today’s Magic Monday would be the perfect time to share How to Be a Princess on Princess Day (and everyday)!

Below you will find 5 ways to act more like a princess.  Not only are these practices that any royalty should follow, but they are good ways to be everyday.

PRINCESS DAY

BE INCLUSIVE

A princess must know her people.  She should be open to all of her people and never make them feel less than or different.  There should be no one left behind when it comes to being a People’s Princess.  Princess Jasmine knew she needed to get out and meet the people and in the end, she met Aladdin and saw  and mingled with the townspeople too!

BE KIND

In a world where you can be anything, be kind should be a universal princess motto.  Some princesses were not born a into a royal world and should always remember where they came from.  Kindness goes a long way and is sure to reflect on others as a great way to be in everything they do.  Remember how Cinderella always tried to still be kind to those around her, even if she wasn’t being treated very kind…

BE YOU

Don’t follow others, make sure to stand out.  Be someone that dares to defy rules or even make new ones!  Be a princess that reflects who you are and doesn’t follow others.  Set a standard of being unique and let your personality shine through at all times.  Vanelope is the perfect example of this!  She knew she could be a princess and still be her glitchy (and special) self!

BE GIVING

Know that you have been afforded a great deal and are in a very lucky position.  Not everyone has the means that a princess does.  So be sure to share that wealth and luck with others.  Donations and volunteering go a long way.  Or be like Mulan and offer to help someone without them knowing!

BE A LADY

Stay neat and clean and while you don’t always have to be dressed to the nines, you do want to look put together.  Smile at those you see, be courteous, and be considerate.  There are many ways to be a lady and you can figure that out, but the most important thing is to make others feel special.  Belle was always polite to those around her even if they were being strange or rude.

While Disney has much magic that comes with it’s princesses, there no reason we can’t all be princesses on the daily. By being kind and inclusive, we can show our princess skills in our own way!

How will you practice being a princess today?!
