Hello.
My name is Abby.
And I am a quarantine alcoholic.
Well, not really but my two newest friends are Marg & Rita. They look great in a drink basket.
We get along really well.
And my local Mexican restaurant friends have been assisting in feeding my visits from these gals. Hahah.
But seriously, I’m not an alcoholic and if you or someone you know has a drinking problem there are some amazing resources out there. I am, however, not going to lie and say that my drinking intake hasn’t increased by 150%, because it totally has.
But I thought it would be fun to share the love and thanks to our neighborhood to-go margaritas that I have been missing out on for the last 6 weeks, I came up with this fun way to share the love with friends!
You can easily whip up this ding dong ditch drink basket with things you probably have in hand. Get creative. We had some old Easter baskets that I pulled the handles off of to use as our base. We grabbed some filler from some orders we recently received and then added a mini bottle of tequila and margarita mix (non-alcoholic of course). And we used flowers from our local resources but you don’t have to add those 😉
I created this printable to string around the mix because honestly, we can’t wait to see our friends again and share a margarita with them! But until we can actually “Meeta” again, at least we can share in the love and tequila with this easy drink basket!
“Can’t wait to Marga-Mita again soon!” You can find the printable here if you’d like to use it too!
Leave it on your friends or family’s door steps and ring the doorbell, then sprint back to the car and wait for their complete amazement as a margarita is now in their hands!!! You just made their dreams come true! They are going to be so glad they “Marga-Mita’d” you!
