With the 4th right around the corner, I’m heading to the kitchen to create some of these fun patriotic desserts. Easy is key! This roundup of easy red white and blue desserts will make you the talk of your socially distanced gathering this weekend! Check them out and let me know which your favorite is! We will be attempting three of them!
BONUS : Charcuterie Boards
Why am I starting with the bonus?! I don’t know… but you all know I love making a fun charcuterie board. Remember my Valentine’s Day one?! Well, mine are typically more sweets than savory, but I’ll work on that! You’ll need chocolates, candies, fruits, cheeses, crackers, and honestly whatever you’d like! For this one we cut cheese into stars and added sprinkles for a little bit more blue fun.
Anything that starts with no-bake usually has me at hello! I love that this one uses all things you can just buy and put together!
We made these a couple years ago for a party and not only were they a hit, the girls loved making them and sneaking candy while we did it!
This is actually the perfect one to have sitting out for kids to do while waiting for fireworks! You just need icing, m&Ms, graham crackers, and fun straws! This is the perfect kid-friendly patriotic dessert!
Cheers to the red, white, and blue foods out there!
We are making this one for this weekend and can’t wait to see how it turns out!
6. Flag Cake
From my friend Trina at Coffee & Confetti Mom (if you don’t already follow, her do it – you won’t regret it), here’s an adorable flag cake for the 4th!
Who doesn’t love popcorn?! This is sure to be a favorite much like we found our Yeti Popcorn to be!
A perfectly fun snack for kiddos and super easy!
Purchase storebought to save time and add sprinkles — Genius! And doesn’t this patriotic dessert look so darn good?!
10. Fruit Sparklers
This one is fun and easy for the kids! Let them pick the shapes for an anytime treat of make all stars for the 4th! Help them assemble and they’ll love them!
This is so adorable and the perfect touch to a summertime drink!
12. Berry Trifle
I love trifles because they are just too easy! This one in particular looks delish, refreshing, and adorably patriotic!
So there you have it! You are all set for this weekend to share with your friends (from a distance) or just enjoy with your family on the patio while watching the Macy’s Fireworks on tv. Whatever it is, enjoy your weekend and stay safe!
