We are so lucky here in Indy to have SO MANY options for just about everything right at our fingertips! Everywhere you turn there’s a boutique, a restaurant, or a spa! And while I haven’t been able to visit all of them, I know that they offer great options for gifting! The other night I had the opportunity to meet some really amazing vendors that reminded me of all the businesses right in our backyard! Shopping combined with hair, makeup, and massages made for a lovely hosted bloggers night out.
It’s always nice to be able to support local. So here are a few of the local vendors we got to check out and you should too!
Massages by Erica from Muscle Mama Massage & Mobile Wellness – O M G. Listen… I have a ton of stress that lingers in my neck and back. I mean a ton. She immediately honed in on that and worked it out. She worked on my knots and in the short time she was able to loosen them pretty well. Plus, did I mention she comes to you?!? Ummm…. what?! Yes! Right. To. You. Make sure to check her out on facebook and book her now. Surprise a loved one with a massage and they will be ever so thankful.
Does your hair need a new do? Or maybe just a style?! If so, check into Dragonfly Salon. I had the chance to have a cute little braid put in my hair by Dakota and I absolutely loved it. Dragonfly specializes in coloring and extensions and who doesn’t love a gift card to the salon? This would be the perfect gift for those who don’t take enough time out for themselves!
Cher behind the Chair was also there offering consultation specifically on curly hair. My hair is straight as nails but she’s a pleasure and one to check out if you need help with curls!
Dania with Senegance was also offering makeup consultations. I think Senegence might be best known for their LipSense which is supposed to last 8-12 hours. I’m more of a gloss kind of girl, but I know a lot of people love to play with lip color! They also offer other products like skincare, makeup, and body washes. Check her out on IG at @lastingbeautybyDania.
Aside from pampering options, there’s also a few other gifting options that we had a chance to check out! Shop KW Style was at the event offering styling sessions as well as clothing from Agnes & Dora a
nd jewelry and accessories from Stella & Dot. If you’ve followed me for a while now, you know I love Stella & Dot. As a former stylist, I really believe they have great quality and unique looking pieces. I’ve been thinking about hosting a party to see if I can’t build up my jewelry stash again! And I’d never seen Agnes & Dora in person, but left with a super cute pullover sweater in a blush color. I cant’ wait to wear it out! Kelly & Wendy are fun gals who would love to help style you and show you some really great comfortable and trendy clothing options. Follow them on Facebook to see their FB Lives and sales!
The candles from Unplug Soy Candles MAY or MAY NOT have stolen the show. They had so many style options which was refreshing because a lot of candles only come in a couple styles. They were gorgeous, fun and smelled AMAZING. You can never have too many candles. And Unplug is also offering my readers a 15% off discount through Tuesday November 13th! Just enter MISSMARTHA at checkout! So grab a candle now and make sure to go check out their studio in Fortville where you can pour your own sometime soon!
Also, now that you’ve got a new do, new clothes, and some new candles for your home or office, you might as well grab some sweet treats! Popcorn from Just Pop In and chocolates from DeBrands Fine Chocolates are always good choices! DeBrands is from my hometown so I’m partial since I grew up going to their brick and mortar way back when with my grandma on Sundays to enjoy a Turtle Sunday! YUMM. But seriously, their truffles are DELISH. And how can you go wrong with popcorn?! Just Pop In does not disappoint AND I’ve heard their new spot in Zionsville is gorgeous!
And lastly, now that we’ve got some snacks… books are always great options for holiday gifting. Know any entrepreneurial spirits who are looking for a book to give them the drive they need to make the leap? Check out Business in Blue Jeans by Susan Baroncini-Moe. This book offers how to have a successful business on your own terms! Can’t wait to read mine! She’s also got a new book coming out – The Bounceback Artist! Be on the lookout Dec 15th!
Thank you to all the vendors for sharing your products with us at the Holiday Style Party and Bloggers Night Out! Please visit the above vendors to check out how they can help you get a head start on gifting this holiday season.
