It’s hard enough to pack for a normal trip, let alone packing for one that’s a surprise Disney trip for a little girl! But I’ve been planning the trip for a while now and have a decent idea of what the girls will wear. We are there for 7 days and at the parks for 5 so lots of options will be needed! And no clothes have been recognized as missing because it’s FREEZING here so… no need for shorts! hahah.
I love planning out outfits. It masks getting dressed so much easier. While I don’t think we’ll follow these below outfits 100%, they do include some really great things to have while there! Here’s a few things you’ll be glad you packed for while you are at Disney…
Shorties!
Matilda Jane shorties are the best for Disney and really any day, but especially at the Disney parks! Their patterns and colors are so often complimentary to Disney designs! They are comfy and easy and the whimsy patterns keep your outfits fun while you are there! Add a t-shirt and cute shoes and you are good to go!
Pants!
You don’t really know what to expect in February in Florida so I’m packing lots of pants in case there’s a freezing cold day… But honestly 54 is not freezing so I’m sure we will be fine! If we can survive -54 degrees wind chill at home, we will be reveling in +54 Florida weather!

Magical or Disney Tees!
On our last trip we had NOTHING Disney! This time I planned a little better and can’t wait to see the girls in their shirts! I’ve got Etsy ones, Disney ones, and target ones! You can find them everywhere! Since ours haven’t arrived yet {DEAR GOD LET THEM BE HERE BY FRIDAY} here’s a link to the ones we got! Click on source to find them!
Sweatshirts!
Yes, we each will have a sweatshirt of some sort for the mornings and evenings. We’ve rented a stroller so we can carry our sleepy turds, but also to be able to carry extras like these! You’ll be sure to want something for the chill once the sun goes down.
Rain jackets!
We all know that Florida has rain. And luckily we all have rain jackets. Since they don’t take up the much room, I’m packing them. They will save us from ponchos and keep us cute in pics!
Comfy shoes!
Make sure the kids have comfy shoes too! I read somewhere that on average a person will walk about 8 miles a day while at Disney! That’s a lot of miles in one week! Make sure you are ready with some comfy pairs! I grabbed Natives and her Nike’s for Ella, some slip-ons and tennies from Old Navy for Olive, Allbirds for Mike and some New Balance Fresh Foam and Birkies for me! Hoping we are set!
Oh and one last thing! Ears!
If you have them, take them with you! If you don’t, be prepared to grab a pair or two! They are a fun accent to any outfit. I grabbed these knock-offs from a local gal and they are just right for the price! This will give the girls some variety and we will most likely pick up a pair for them while we are there.
And there you have it! You are ready to hit the parks in style!
See you there in just a few!
