Every year I gather a group of books I’d love to read over the upcoming 12 months. I know to going into it that I’m not a huge reader, but I want to be. So this year, I’m starting a little smaller and with what I have at home… And my Pinterest board with all my reading picks is overflowing, so I need to stay the course and finish these!
We shall see how this goes…
I know my summer reading list last year didn’t go to well, but let’s think positive!
This has been on my list for a few years. I might try to cheat and listen to this one vs reading it, but the goal is the same. Read before 2021.
This is more of a workbook than a book. It’s very interactive and I’m hoping it’ll help bring clarity to my fairy business and this blog as well. You might remember me grabbing this one last year but I never got to it.
Another one I got from last year but didn’t make much progress with. This is more of a journaling book too so we shall see. The goal would be to finish one list a week and this perfectly aligns with my relationship resolution for the year.
I’ve been wanting to read this along with others in the series for a while. It’s light and seems like it might be a quick read so we shall see. But I mean, who doesn’t want to read something reassuring them of their badass-ness?!
This is a book that I got for free (just had to pay shipping and handling) and I honestly don’t know much about it. I think this book encourages women how to have a life many have only dreamed about: one where they can make good money AND be there for their families — without sacrificing one for the other and without guilt.
I’ve had this book for a while and read a couple of chapters and did enjoy it, but never make the time to read. I WILL finish this book this year. I like to read books like this to keep my imagination youthful and fresh. If I read too many sad stories and watch the news too much I become too somber and do love reading a good fairy tale.
Another I’ve had for a bit… I must read. I’m 150 pages in and just can’t seem to make time for more than a chapter or two here and there. But instead of binging shows, I’m trying to read more and this is top of the list!
So there you have it… I’m going to do more book reviews/suggestions/lists for the year. There are so many great things out there to read and I’ve found even just this week, when the TV is off, we don’t ask to turn it on as often and fill our time with other things like reading, playing, etc. So we are off to a good start and I’m hoping that I can accomplish this list of 7 books… it’s only 7 so it shouldn’t be an issue right?!?!
