You know, while there are some very stressful things happening in the world right now, I have decided I’m going to take a little advantage of the situation we are in! This means that I’ll be soaking up my family as much as possible and enjoying the little things. I’m hoping to try to keep the normal as much as possible and still celebrate special events with the whole family home. This morning, we were able to have a Leprechaun Breakfast with Ella home since she isn’t currently in school.
I had planned to do a little more than this, but with all the cray in the world, I decided to just let it be. While it’s not perfect, nor what I was hoping for with my leprechaun breakfast, I was able to grab most of the things from the Dollar Tree a couple weeks ago to keep the cost down. I love doing these mini celebrations, but that can get expensive so shopping at places like Dollar Tree helps me keep the budget!
I grabbed one bag of balloons, green streamers, and made my poster on Canva. You can find the printable below! I pulled out some old cake stands to hold our leprechaun trap and loads of sugar. It was a little sugary for a normal breakfast, but it’s St. Patrick’s Day!
If you wanted to do your own Getcha Green on Leprechaun Breakfast like this one, think cheats & easy to do! I grabbed Lucky Charm bars and cut them into bite size pieces and also grabbed pre-made brownies. The only thing I made was the clover cinnamon rolls. Which were super easy and you can do those too… but buy the generic rolls (not Pillsbury) as they unroll much easier!
This mini celebration cost me about $20 ish dollars! I reused a few things from our St. Patrick’s Themed Sensory Kits which helped too!
How do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? Or, maybe I should say, how are you this year?!
