TEACHER GIFTS
It’s hard to believe we are at the end of the school year… Ok, so it is about a week early, but we’ll take it. And I’m sure the teachers are ready to be done too. This has been a very stressful, unique and trying time on all of us, but the teachers have done their best to make it all bearable and they have been absolutely amazing if you ask me. In Indiana, every single teacher was named Teacher of the Year and appropriately so! And the time has come to treat them with special teacher gifts as we always do at the end of the year, but this time we need things that can be shipped! So here’s a few ideas that can be shipped from you to them with your love!
Social Distancing Hug Bracelets
This one is top of my list. Teachers don’t always need a lot of trinkets because they get them all the time from students, but this is one I think they’ll appreciate and giggle about.
Gift Cards
Obviously, gift cards are an easy choice for teacher gifts. One, you can get all different kinds, but also in these times we don’t know what is needed and what isn’t. Send Amazon gift cards, dinner gift cards, bookstore gift cards, or even cute clothing store gift cards. I always try to shop local if I can, but we all know Amazon Prime comes in handy so… Whatever you choose, your teacher will love that they can pop online and grab something they like!
Artwork
This one could be a really cool piece that your little came up with or you can order something from a professional artist off etsy. Either way, they are sure to appreciate it. I think the pieces that are made just for them hold a little more meaning. Maybe your kiddo could create a cool series of apple, pencil, and notebooks. Or check out someone like Emily Mercedes who does really cool watercolor prints at affordable prices.
Coffee Delivery
The only person who needs coffee in their lives more than moms, is teachers. Blue Bottle Coffee is a coffee subscription service that you can design as you like and there are others too! Choose how much, how often and what type of coffee you would like and then it’s shipped right to their door. So send that teacher in your life a gift coffee subscription!
Potted Plants & Floral Subscriptions
I always like to run to Meijer or Lowe’s and grab a cute succulent and put it in a clay pot. Sometimes we add a little printable to it to give it a little more of a warm feel. You can even have your kiddo customize the pot for their favorite teacher! Bloomsybox.com has some subscriptions month to month that start at $39.99 which is a great price for surprise teacher gifts! But there are so many local flower shops offering delivery and subscriptions these days you should definitely check them out! Or maybe even check out the local farmers market for some fresh blooms.
Charcuterie Boards
We recently had a franchise open here called Board & You and they create charcuterie boards for you! Also check our your local meat markets. In Indy, Goose the Market, has them for different sizes and prices as well. Charcuterie boards are perfect for many things, just like your teachers! Have a board for 2 or 4 delivered right to their door! And maybe see if you can add a bottle of wine too! They’ll love it!
