My husband says “THINGS CAN’T STAY CLOSED FOREVER ABBY!” as I was discussing the reopening of Disney this weekend. While I’m not sure I’d actually go to Disney at this time, I still WANT to go and just keep dreaming about our next trip! So I figured it might be fun to have a virtual visit and share my 5 favorite rides at Disney!
First, do you have a most favorite ride?! I do and you’ll laugh! But it’s Peter Pan. I just love the nostalgia of that ride. I can’t get over it. I basically cry every time I ride it. LOL. And I will only ride it with a fast pass because the line is always so long, but to me, that ride is 100% worth it. We did wait in line 1x and it was the most magical line experience I think with walking through the house and playing with Peter’s shadow!
FAVORITE RIDES AT DISNEY
I even created this list of all the rides and some attractions at each of the lands of Magic Kingdom. I hope you like it! I found it very helpful to know the attractions in each location for planning how to maneuver through the park! You can print it too!
So…Here’s MY personal 5 favorite Rides at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Peter Pan’s Flight
There’s just something about this one like I said. I remember watching Peter Pan growing up, but not the cartoon version. The one with Doris Day and real people. Either way, this one makes me tear up because I love it so much.
Pirates of the Caribbean
Another favorite because of it’s nostalgia and charm. Plus, we know where the cameras are so we can have some pretty amazing photo ops! Like when we were all sleeping because Olive was literally sleeping… Good times on the open seas!
BEST DISNEY SNACKS
Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups
A perfect ride for your littles where you can get dizzy with the entire family! We always like to take photos while spinning too! They are some of my favorite photos from our trips because you will never get one without a smile!
GREAT DISNEY GIFTS
Big Thunder Mountain
Surprisingly my last two favorites are roller coasters. Big Thunder Mountain is so fun because it’s not scary! It’s perfect for those moms who have to go with their kids but hate roller coasters! It’s like one step up from a kiddie coaster and totally enjoyable! And remember to wave to your friends and family towards the end!
Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train
Lastly, this one is worth the wait. Although all the rides with the longest lines feel like the shortest rides, they are usually the ones you want to get right back in that long line for another shot at riding! Plus this one is super cute with the Dwarf’s story line!
Well there you have it — my 5 favorite rides at Disney, specifically Magic Kingdom! Believe me, I love just about everything about MK so this was actually kind of hard for me! I mean I even love little rides like the carousel, but alas, these are the ones I will ride with kids until they won’t ride with me anymore!
