Olive’s room has been a labor of love of mine. It was the first one I was most excited to get done, so not surprisingly, it’s the first one done! I think I have everything done in here for now and will add more details as the months go one. You might remember my design board for Olive’s room where I laid out the plans and items that were going to work in the room. When I shared that, we only had the beds and dresser really in the room. So now it’s time to have Olive’s Big Girl Room Reveal!

Immediately when we walked into the upstairs of our house, before it had floors or paint, I knew this would be Olive’s room. It was the biggest of the “extra” rooms and while it is the farthest from our master, it was big enough for two twin beds! Finally a room I could design around 2 twin beds. So when I found these Mid-Century Twin beds on Marketplace, I knew we had to have them and they’d work perfectly in here!
I found the bedding at Target and Home Goods – have you seen all the Rachel Zoe blankets?! They are to die for! And luckily I was able to find two matching for the ends of her beds.
The wallpaper is the real maker of the room. Coming from Coloritto, it’s beautiful and really give the room the pop that it needs. The colors are just dreamy with peaches, greens, yellows and blushes. It made working in other items pretty easy as basically anything in that moody scheme works!
We just still need to get some lights figured out, both ceiling and table, a better arrangement of the items on the ledges, and more art!
