Every year I feel like I’m rushing around the last week of school trying to figure out what to give our teachers for the year as gifts. Last year we made up a very LATE quarantine themed gift set which was me branching out because I don’t usually stray too much from a succulent in a coffee mug. Not that I’m taking anything away from a succulent in a coffee mug. But maybe it’s a new thing for me because we came up with something different and useful this year for our end of year teacher gifts!
This year we made an Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezie gift set for our teachers. And I can’t take 100% credit for it because I’m sure there’s like 100 ideas like this on pinterest, but we put our own personal twist on it with handmade notes and more.
For this gift set you’ll need:
*Pitcher
*Cups (mine came with the pitcher)
*4 reusable straws
*2 Lemonade Mixes
*Wooden Spoon
*$15 Target Gift Card
*Craft Paper or Lemon Squeezie Printable
*Ribbon
We did buy in “bulk” to help spread the cost out between three teachers we had this year. The pitcher and gift cards were the biggest costs. But the straws, spoons, and lemonade mixes we just bought one package of each and split among the three pitchers.
While we didn’t have a ton of extra time since I was shopping @meijer the night before at 11pm, you could definitely add some extra personality to these sets. If you have a cricut, you can add some lemons to the pitcher, or you could have the kids paint the top of the wooden spoon.
The best part about this gift is that it all fit inside the pitcher (with exception of the spoon which looks super cute tied on the outside.
Get the kids involved. If they aren’t going to paint the top of the wooden spoon, then have them create the card. Either print out a lemon card or have them make their own version! I drew these lemons for Olive, but Ella created her own!
Olive signed the note which said “Thanks for making this year easy peasy lemon squeezie and keeping me on Target!”
If you can’t find a pitcher or are just looking for some other ideas, here’s my memorable gifting Pinterest board where you can find LOTS of ideas! And here’s a few ideas we shared last year!
