We have a very tween girl in our house these days and I’m honestly enjoying thinking of what to get her for the holidays… I love that she still plays with some toys, but also is getting more into clothes, accessories, and bigger girl things! So pulling these ideas together was fun for me since she asked for an iPhone, air pods, and a new computer. I told her not this year and basically crushed all her dreams but I still think this tween holiday gift guide for Tweens is sure to satisfy!
First, let’s start with her real list…
While I’d love to get her all these things, I won’t and maybe can’t?! LOL. It’s a hefty list and I’m trying really to instill in my kids that they can’t just get EVERYTHING they want and I really try to instill that when the wished for items are all over $100 each!
But, because she’ll probably only get one of those things, this gift guide is great! It covers a lot of areas and I think it hits a lot of the things I hear the kids mention throughout the year! So, here we go!
Charging/Docking Station — This is a great one because all the kids have just about all the devices anymore, right?! iPhones, Air Pods, Apple Watches, etc so it’s nice to have one place to plug them all in at night!
Ugg Boots — What child (who lives in the cold at least) doesn’t love some easy to pull on Ugg Boots during the winter days! Uggs go with everything and they are super warm too! My tween steals mine, so I think it’s time for her own!
Instax – My kids love these things. They love being able to have a photo right at their fingertips right after they take it! And a plus to this gift is you can use it for parties when you need to! LOL.
Gift Cards — Tweens are at the age where they love spending money so why not make them spend a little more of “their own” money with gift cards! Right now, Roblox and Starbucks would be the biggest ones to get in our house, but other options like Nintendo and other coffee shops, boba places, and anywhere that sells fidgets!
KIDS SUBSCRIPTION GIFT IDEAS
Overnight Bags — Tis the season for sleepovers, right? My tween is always asking to go to a sleepover here and then one there… so why not give them a nice set of overnight bags? It’s something that they will use for years to come!
LED Lights — This is one that I already broke down to buy, but I think here are many kiddos out there who would love to have these darn LED lights in their rooms. I personally don’t love them, but sometimes we have to give in on some things…
Hydroflasks – While this has been “trendy” for a while, I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon! It’s a great gift that they can use at school, camping, or just at home so they aren’t dirtying 1000 cups every day!
Graphic Novels — My daughter is super into graphic novels. She needs to start reading more non graphic novels, but honestly as long as she’s reading, I’m good with it. Also, my heart melted a little when she asked for this Babysitters Club Series.
EXPERIENCE GIFT IDEAS
Vans — The holidays are the perfect time to replenish your kiddos closets! You are getting a two-fer here… you are filling their closet AND they are getting a gift and Vans & Chucks are perfect for tweens.
Fit Bit — I think this is an awesome gift for anyone, but for tweens especially because they can easily get stuck in the video game realm! This will encourage them to take breaks and even maybe get into active challenges with friends.
Bath & Body Works — Another great idea because kids love all the smells, right?! The gift sets they have for the holidays are just right for trying new scents and also encouraging good hygeine!
