Well, October is a crazy month for us and why not make it a crazier month by adding in a birthday! So while we are party planning a crazy Halloween Party, we are also trying to plan a somewhat low key 6th birthday too! So we haven’t decided on it all yet, but we have been finding a little inspiration out there! Here’s a few ideas for a magical 6th birthday and you’ll also find the mood board for Olive’s party all the way at the end!
Remember last year?!
ANYTIME BIRTHDAYS
Six is Sweet
Who wouldn’t love a candy themed birthday! Loving all these “props” and I think my Olive would die over this!
Six & Sassy
An adorable idea because we know all six year olds are pretty darn sassy! And this can pretty much be anything you’d like!

Pixie Six
Fairies can be so much fun and there’s so many color schemes and details you can play into with this one! I love this idea for about any age from 4-8!

Adopt Me Ideas
I love this idea too! It’s an easy and fun party where they can adopt a friend, and have a takeaway too! It doesn’t have to be dogs… it can really be anything! And you can make collars and homes for them! Super cute!
FALL BIRTHDAYS
Pink Pumpkin Patch
This is one we did last year and oh boy, it was a hit! I sprayed pumpkins pink and the girls got to pick their own “at the pumpkin patch” and then they decorated them! It was so much fun! Think fall pumpkins but pink!
The Witch is Six
I love this one for us because why not have a Halloween Birthday Party for a fall birthday! I think it would be so cute to have all the girls come dressed as witches, OR they get to decorate their own witches hat and cape! So easy to do!

Monster Mash
Along the Halloween ideas, this is adorable too! A Monster Mash would be so in!
And while every year I try to get Olive to get on board with a cute little costume party or Halloween inspired party, every year she tells me no. So this year we have decided on a Roblox party with a Unicorn Adopt Me feature. It’ll be a smaller group and we’ll just be doing it at home, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be fun things and cute decor! Here’s our mood board and I’m excited for it.
The plan is to have a small craft, a cute cake, and a takeaway for the kids (the adoption part). I’m actually thinking it’ll come together quite cute and the Unicorn aspect will allow for a few “magical” diys that I’m looking forward to and of course, there’ll be a cute little tablescape.
Have you done a 6th Birthday yet?! What was your theme?! Six feels like a hard one for some reason, but it’s such a fun age so really anything goes!
