It’s funny because moms are usually the ones doing the crafts… but this one, I promise, you can set out the supplies for dad and he’ll rock it! This is a super easy Mother’s Day craft that she’s going to love, especially when you put your own spin on it with what you put in the middle! So, let’s do this…
All you need is a adorable paper plates -I like these from Walmart and Packed Party) because they are so colorful, construction paper and scissors, glue or tape (or both), and a printer or just drawings.
MOTHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE
First you’ll want to decide what you want as the middle filler for your super mom ribbons. We did little prints that say ‘happy mother’s day’ and ‘super mom’ but you can do drawings from your littles, or pictures of mom you have on hand. All will be adorable!
Then once you’ve picked that out, you’ll cut in a small circle to fit inside the middle of the plate. We used hot glue first time around and added the mom images with washi tape.
LAST MINUTE MOTHER’S DAY IDEAS
From there, you’ll want to add your “ribbons.” To do this you’ll cut your construction paper into about 2 inch wide rectangles. I just took a construction paper placed vertically and cut it about every 2in that way. Then, I cut those pieces in half and laid them on top of each other before cutting a triangle at one end. This gives you the perfect end of the ribbon.
And voila! Done! Super easy Mother’s Day Craft!
Add these to your breakfast in bed for mom, or put them along the wall down the stairs that she’ll walk down in the morning. She’s going to love seeing what you’ve given her little ribbons for!
