Shopping for kids can be never-ending and these days it feels like everything is so expensive. But, now’s the time to spoil them a little bit, right?! It is interesting to see what they want, but I always try to do a combo of wants and needs. This year, the wants definitely outweigh the needs, but here’s a few good ideas for those little girls in your life who are elementary age or somewhere around 7-9.
Makeup – What little girl doesn’t like makeup?! I think this is a fun age where they aren’t quite old enough to wear it out all the time, but they can put a little on for special occasions and at home. It’s a great way to build confidence in their makeup skills… just make sure to grab makeup wipes too!
Legos – I love watching my kids to legos, I mean I love doing legos for my kids hahah. It’s a fun thing to do together if they need a little help, or its a great gift that helps them learn while playing!
Barbie – My 7 year old LOVES Barbies still and I secretly hope she does forever. Any Barbie items are great gifts, like this helicopter or camper. But the Barbie Movie dolls are also a fun change and loved by my little!
Power Pony – Have you heard of this!? I hadn’t. It’s a pony on top of a hoverboard and it’s definitely a splurge. But, it is on sale at Target currently (at the time of writing this).
Touchland Hand Sanitizer – Not sure why the little kids love this so much, but we constantly have to buy this. It is $10 a pop, but it’s a perfect stocking stuffer.
Switch – This is always a nice gift for kids. Something they can travel with and also play with at home. It’s our gameboy, and who didn’t have a gameboy?!
Mini Karaoke Machine – This cute little karoake machine comes with two microphones and it’s bluetooth! I think it would be fun for sleepovers and playdates!
So, there you have it! This list could seriously be a mile long so it might just be part one, who knows! Don’t your kids circle everything in the Amazon, Walmart, Meijer, and Target toy catalogs?! I know mine do!
Here’s a few others that didn’t make this list but are still great ideas!
