The big game is on it’s way this weekend and every year it comes and goes and I miss the opportunity to actually create some fun things for it! This year, I don’t have much time, but I do have a few ideas and I cannot wait to share them with you! If you are short on time but want to still have some Super Bowl fun, here’s a few Super Bowl party inspiration and ideas I know you can do and I know you’ll love.
Easy Table Runners
This one is so easy and so cute! It’s classic and not too themed, but also will look great on any table and wow your friends! These are two options I love and I know you can tackle! All you need is a sharpie marker, a roll of butcher paper, and a chalk marker (or even big white crayon). You can either create a table runner by drawing x’s and o’s along with arrows to represent different plays or you can create the lines of the field by adding white lines with numbers. Both are easy, but still make a cute little statement! Your friends will ask you where you got these adorable runners, I swear!
Ok, this one is sooooo easy you’ll do it for other things too! All you need is an oval or football shaped cookie cutter and some brownies (homemade or store bought – I won’t tell!). If baking, use a 9×11 pan so you can cut out more little footballs. Once you have done that and have removed them, add white piping like football laces with a white cookie icing and you’ve got football brownies!
A Football Vase
Ok, this one I was so excited to try myself! I saw it on Pinterest and thought how cute! Grab (preferably an old one) a football and snip off the end. The bottom you’ll just smush inside itself to create a flat bottom. Next, grab a glass to stick in the inside, fill with water, add flowers, and you have the most adorable and perfect centerpiece for any Football game!
If you don’t have a football lying around, you could also grab a glass vase and paint little footballs on it – or if you aren’t very artistically inclined, you could add stickers!
You may remember when we made Yeti popcorn and just like that, this is pretty much do as you like! Add chocolate, pretzels, nuts, etc and drizzle at the end with colored chocolate – maybe red and yellow for this years super bowl teams… BUT make sure to add little footballs which you can create by grabbing chocolate covered almonds and adding melted white chocolate to add the laces of the football. Melt the chocolate and add to a squeezie bottle for an easier time.
While it’s not much, altogether it will make for a super cute small setup or something fun to take to a friends Super Bowl party! Next year, maybe I’ll actually get around to creating my own tablescape for this!
